Cellulite and How to Make it Less Visible

Last week I decided to watch an episode of Dr. Oz where he was talking about a good way to get rid of that bumpy, cottage-cheese look on the back of our thighs. You know what I am talking about right? Cellulite, which isn’t exactly the most attractive thing that happens to our bodies, but what exactly, does happen? What Dr. Oz was saying is that as we age the collagen and elasticity of our skin isn’t like it was when we were younger, so the fat cells become more noticeable and we get that ripple effect on our back side, so what can we do to help stop the visible effects of cellulite?

There are 3 things you can do to help minimize the sight of cellulite:

Release, restore, rejuvenate

Release: Turkish coffee and Sugar: Mix both the Turkish coffee and sugar together and then add a little water to make a paste and rub it into the area where your cellulite is. What happens is that the coffee begins to seep into your skin and within a few weeks you will begin to see some results.

Restore: Thicken up your collagen by eating two servings a day of red food enriched with Vitamin C and Licopene such as:

  • Tomatoes
  • Red grapefruit
  • Red bell pepper
  • Cherry tomatoes
  • Apples
  • Blood oranges
  • Cherries
  • Cranberries
  • Pomegranate
  • Red grapes
  • Strawberries
  • Raspberries
  • Red pears
  • Red Beets
  • Watermelon
  • Red cabbage
  • Red onion
  • Rhubarb
  • Red potatoes
  • Radicchio
  • Radishes

Rejuvenate: Golf ball and Olive oil: Dip the golf ball into the olive oil and simply massage where your cellulite is at to help minimize the appearance of cellulite.

You can buy the Turkish coffee at Amazon and you can watch the video at Dr. Ozs’ website.
